Programme Synopsis
 
The Graduate Diploma in Management is designed to prepare today's managers  with the extensive training in identifying their significant role in management. The Graduate Diploma in Management will provide you the insight to new challenges ahead in your manager's role with effective techniques and skills in management within the organisation.
 
The International Professional Managers Association (IPMA) is an International Professional body formed for the purpose of providing practicing manges with the opportunity to participate and to be part of the process of improving managerial performance and effectiveness in all areas of business and industrial activity.
 
This programme will create a study path for students who are keen to pursue a career advancement in the field of Management.
 
Programme Structure & Duration 
 
The Graduate Diploma in Management is 9 months part time programme. Students will be enrolled in two modules per term. Each term comprises of 12 weeks. We have classes in the day, evening and weekend.
 
 
Entry equirement
 
The minimum entry requirement is Advanced Diploma in Management or other relevant qualifications or equivalent.
 
Upon successful completion, Diploma will be awarded by Mind Map Business School and IPMA UK London.

MGT 4103 - Organisational Behaviour
 
Module Aims:
  • To provide the student with the understanding of the human and behavioral aspects of management.
  • To enable the student to make decisions concerning job design, job motivation, group management and organisational change and development.

At the end of the course the student will have the ability to:

  • Develop awareness of the behavioral issues involved within the organisation and how it affects organisational performance.
  • Understand individual differences and group processes and how it affects individual and group performances
  • Examine motivational issues and its impact on job design and individual performances
  • Assess leadership, power and organisational issues including culture and their effect on organisational performance
  • Develop an understanding of organisational change processes.

  • To equip the student with the understanding of Information Technology and its impact on business and strategic management.
  • To provide the student with the ability to critically assess computing and information needs of the organisation.

At the end of the module the student will have the ability to:

  • To have the requisite knowledge to evaluate computing and IT needs of the organization
  • To understand how information systems can be applied within the strategic context of the organisation.

Assessments Methods 

Students of this programme will be assessed by a combination of assignments, examinations, test, class participation, presentations, projects and/or role-play. Each module would have different assessment weightage depending on respective programme requirements.
